*TRANSLATED FROM SPANISH*

"My Own private Andy Warhol" talks about the real (objectifiable) influence that the audiovisual works of Andy Warhol may have had on my narrative method. The way I see it a part of Warhols ouevre (screen tests, first movies, polaroids of still lifes and everyday landscapes, etc.) shows us how a trivial fact/character can be perceived as something extraordinary, admirable, desirable, once captured through a camera and shown before an audience. With all premeditation I chose the camera of a mobile phone to execute the exercise; trying to think the same way I imagine Andy Warhol would have thought.
